Mr. Mazur graduated from Rutgers College in New Brunswick in 1996. In 1999, Mr. Mazur graduated with High Honors from Rutgers School of Law.
He thereafter clerked for the New Jersey Supreme Court, The Honorable Virginia A. Long, during the 2000 term. Throughout the time, Mr. Mazur had the honor of seeing New Jersey’s highest Court at work, as well as some of the most experienced and well-respected attorneys that practice before that Court.
Following his clerkship for Justice Long, Mr. Mazur honed his partnership and closely-held shareholder litigation, commercial and employment litigation skills with the National law firm, Drinker Biddle LLP, in Florham Park, New Jersey. Mr. Mazur won the Morris County Bar Association Mock Trial Contest for young attorneys in 2001 while he was with the Drinker firm -- the first time that Drinker had ever won that competition, despite its annual participation.
In 2002, Mr. Mazur commenced his tenure with Orloff, Lowenbach, Stifelman & Siegel in Roseland, where he worked directly under Laurence B. Orloff, Esq., a patriarch of the New Jersey bar who is awarded a New Jersey “Superlawyer” award annually by his peers. There he further refined his expertise in partnership disputes and complex litigation.
In 2009, Mr. Mazur founded the Law Offices of Philip E. Mazur, Esq., specializing in complex commercial disputes, construction disputes, and employment disputes.
In 2014, Mr. Mazur was awarded a Superlawyer Rising Star designation.
